Cassette

March 13th, 2010

Hey tharr, it’s that time of the year again! A new post full of wickedly awesome news.. And all that jazz. It’s been a while again, I know, but I’ll always make it up, right? At least, I hope I do!

But I’ve been very busy lately with ze music. B1-66ER, that dubstep act from me and Pythius is going really well, we’ve planned a few gigs and are almost done with our first release! You can take a listen here at our soundcloud. We’re also working on setting up our very own label! It’s going to be called M109 records, named after the infamous American-made self-propelled 155 mm howitzer! We’re aiming for releasing harsh, techy and war-like music, preferably with a shitload of bass. So if you make that kind of stuff, just send an email with some stuff and we’ll get back to you. We obviously can’t guaranty that it’ll be released, but it’s always worth a shot, right?

And I also got some news on the ol’ Horsehead front. I’m currently working on making and releasing a cassette. “Wait.. Did he say cassette?” I sure did. I know it’s pretty out-dated and all, but I’m aiming for a nice vintage and old-school release. I’ve nearly finished composing 9 songs for it already, all experimental and mellow IDM stuff. I intended to make it to give it to friends and family as a sign of appreciation and stuff, but I’m hoping other people would appreciate it too. So be on the look-out!
